Corporate business administration is challenged by the evolution in globalization, of liberalization, of information technology, and of the accumulation of capital. This evolution is defined as the paradigm shift of any given era thus rendering current business thinking and business models first commonplace, and then out of date. Now is the time for a new vision and new knowledge. Competence of individuals and corporate businesses stems from acquiring such knowledge, and from the ability to anticipate such subsequent evolutions. The key to success for both individuals and private firms is to develop abilities to understand the natural correspondence between purposes and options through insight into the dynamics of the evolution of the time.

The founding spirit of Meiji University is "rights and liberty", "independence and self-government", and that same spirit can be applied to corporate business. It is necessary for business professionals to understand the limitations of former experiences and traditional thinking and to make effective decisions corresponding to the evolutions of today. In this regard, the educational ideal of the Graduate School of Global Business is to nurture highly innovative business professionals with flexible thinking, precise analysis and proactive decision making.

The school offers about one hundred and fifty classes and is comprised of the fields of finance, management, accounting, marketing, real estate, and global complex. The curricula are comprehensive, advanced and practical, and many faculty members have experience in practicing firms. As such, through case studies and seminars, students can develop their thinking abilities to better face the challenges of future evolution.
